SC 482 (Previously a 457)

  1. Temporary Visa (2 steps to Permanent)
  2. The occupation must be on Government Lists
  3. Available for 2 or 4 years depending on occupation
  4. English level is IELTS 5.0 (some exemptions)
  5. No Age restrictions
  6. Some occupations and some countries will require a Skill Assessment
  7. Next step to a Permanent Visa is the SC 186

 

SC 186

  1. Permanent Visa
  2. The occupation must be on Government Lists
  3. Must have an employer to Nominate you
  4. English level is IELTS 6.0 (some exemptions)
  5. Must be under 45 years of AGE for Direct Entry (some exemptions)
  6. Must be under 50 years of AGE for Transition from Sc 457 and SC 482 (some exemptions)
  7. Must have Skill Assessment  (some exemptions)
  8. No visa previously Refused or Cancelled
  9. Must work for Nominated employer for 2 years

 

SC 491  (Previously 489)

  1. Temporary Visa (2 steps to Permanent)
  2. Regional Visa Only
  3. The occupation must be on Government Lists
  4. Score 65 Points some occupations will need 95+ Points
  5. Must be under 45 years of AGE  (some exemptions)
  6. Regional Visa Only
  7. English level is IELTS 6.0 (some exemptions)
  8. No visa previously Refused or Cancelled
  9. Must have Skill Assessment  (some exemptions)
  10. Next step to a Permanent Visa is the SC 191

SC 494  (Previously 187)

  1. Temporary Visa (2 steps to Permanent)
  2. Regional Visa Only
  3. The occupation must be on Government Lists
  4. Must have an employer to Nominate you
  5. Must be under 45 years of AGE  (some exemptions)
  6. Regional Visa Only
  7. English level is IELTS 6.0 (some exemptions)
  8. 3 Years of work Experience
  9. Must have Skill Assessment  (some exemptions)
  10. No visa previously Refused or Cancelled
  11. 5 Year Visa
  12. Next step to a Permanent Visa is the SC 191 after 3 years (must have Tax Assessment)

SC 191 

  1. Permanent Visa
  2. Regional Visa Only
  3. Must have had SC 491 or Sc 494 for 3 years
  4. Have Tax Assessments for 3 years showing min of $53,900.00
  5. Have IELTS 6
  6. NO Visa Cancelled or Refused Previously

DAMA

  1. Now available in 7 areas of Australia
  2. Most cases have a Pathway to Permanency
  3. Occupation Lists are different for each are depending on the need
  4. English Level is different depending on the Occupation and district
  5. Age is usually 45 to Apply (some exemptions)
